Training Coordinator – $22/hr DOE
Position: Training Coordinator
The Training Coordinator has the primary responsibility of training, planning, directing and coordinating the training and education programs of the agency in line with state licensing. Training Coordinator will develop and maintains relationships with employees and individuals with the primary focus of education and delivery of quality support and services. The Training Coordinator will oversee the effective execution of training sessions, identify skill and knowledge gaps and have the ability to understand and adapt to all learning styles. They may also assist Human Resources and Executive Director as needed (ex. Internal investigations, marketing, recruiting, on-boarding).
Qualifications:
Minimum requirement of High School diploma; Four-year degree in Education, Human Services or equivalent preferred.
2 years’ experience working directly with Developmental Disabilities. Meet requirements for Certified Regional Staff Trainer, defined by the ND DD Division; or ability to obtain certification.
Hold current Instructor card for CPR, AED, First Aid and Therapeutic Responses, or ability to obtain.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
Ability to work with all staff and present material to groups to ensure comprehension of written and oral training to pass tests and to work with people with disabilities.
