Pay Range:  Residential Coordinator

Shifts: Evenings, weekends, holidays 

Essential Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Certification in developmental disabilities preferred. Must be willing to meet certification requirements for the position.
  • Must be able to perform CPR, AED, First Aid upon certification.
  • Must be able to implement Therapeutic Response Techniques.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and lift 10 lbs. overhead.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and squat frequently throughout shift.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work hours assigned. If an emergency (accident, illness, hospitalization, death in family) occurs, notify the Supervisor with as much notice as possible prior to the start of the shift.
  • Support, coach, and discipline staff as necessary. Provide orientation training to new staff.  Complete evaluations of staff by deadlines.  Conduct staff meetings monthly.
  • Supervise payroll activities and approve leave. Assure compliance with budgeted hours and minimize the use of overtime.  Assure all facility/house expenses are kept with established budgetary guidelines.
  • Assure that residential areas comply with Health, Safety, and Agency standards and are modified to meet the needs of individuals.
  • Participate in the personal planning process by providing information to the team about what you know to be the dreams and goals, strengths, needs, and preferences of the people you support.
  • Assist people to plan, attend, or participate in events and activities of their choice in the community.
  • Assist people to manage their finances and protect their personal possessions with no reports that people were prohibited in spending their money as they wish unless defined by the PCSP.
  • Assist people to follow recommendations received at medical appointments. Continuously monitor and document health information.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of ODC vehicles i.e. oil changes, tune-ups, tire inspections, and annual detailing. Assure license tabs, insurance cards, and accessible placards are available for each agency vehicle and up to date.
  • Attend meetings, in-services, and workshops as appropriate and approved. Assure staff supervised also attend when appropriate to maintain training requirements.
  • Serves as a member of committees as assigned. Participate as designated on-call staff within the system utilized.
