Position: Day Habilitation Supervisor

Description:

Directly supervises full-time and part-time staff.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance appraisal; confirming reported work hours, addressing complaints, and resolving problems, approving PTO; reporting Workers Compensation and Family Medical Leave; scheduling to see that staffing is maintained. Communicates and Coordinates with residential staff to assure efficient, effective transition for consumer.  Adheres to budget for staff salaries.  Ensures that staff function as a team and creates a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred, experience in other disability areas considered; 4-year degree preferred; valid driver’s license required; proficiency in database helpful; superior interpersonal and organizational skills; prior experience preferred.
